Munsami Naidu passed away peacefully, the morning of January 16th after a brief stay in hospital. He was surrounded by his loving family during his last days. Munsami was born in Malolo, Nadi, Fiji Islands but had been living in Mt Roskill, Auckland for the past 30 years. He was the eldest of five brothers and four sisters. Munsami raised four beautiful daughters with the help of his wife, Paru. When in Fiji he worked as a store manager at Narain’s Construction and after he immigrated New Zealand, he worked as a joiner at Tawa Doors NZ Ltd. Munsami was a kind soul who was passionate about his family, food, drink (especially his whisky) and his garden. He greeted everyone with a smile and his motto in life was to live well and be happy. Munsami was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
